Our first experience of R&B Sims came during the summer period of 2013. Due to a significant planned new build, it became necessary to divert our entire incoming 3 phase LV electrical mains supply, a task of significant proportion and potential disruption to business. Not only was the size of the task considerable, the available timescale was worryingly short. However, our fears turned out to be unfounded as , subsequent to winning a hasty tendering process, R&B Sims intervened to turn the issue around admirably. Their response to our needs was practical and affordable, whilst avoiding a lot of potential disruption, and totally within a very demanding programme. Their attention to detail, both mechanically and aesthetically, was very impressive and several sensible adaptations and amendments were suggested throughout the work to improve upon our original design. The communication between us was continual and effective throughout, and Stewart Sims oversaw the entire project throughout without any need for chasing or complaints. They remain on Stanmore College’s list of preferred contractors. I would thoroughly recommend R&B Sims for any electrical engineering projects, large or small.

We had R&B Sims undertake a complete re-wiring of our house last year. I must say it was not something we were looking forward to as we expected it to create chaos in our house and huge upheaval. However, this was not the case. R&B Sims were totally professional and very knowledgable, which meant they were able to use conduits downstairs to re-route wiring without channelling out walls. In fact there was minimal mess and disruption. This made such a huge difference for us as we were living there during the work. I’d also say that the finished quality of their work was a really high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommended them.
